Ingredients needed to prepare piquillo peppers stuffed with cod:
For peppers:
8 piquillo peppers (for filling)
400 g cleansed and without cod skin (fresh or salted)
1 large onion (about 300 g)
1 green peppers (Italian, approx. 100 g)
2 cloves of garlic
25 g wheat flour
50 g salted butter
250 ml of milk
150 ml cream (35% fat)
Olive oil
Ground black pepper
Ground nutmeg
Salt to taste
For piquillo sauce:
6 piquillo peppers (extra)
1 onion (half of the previous one)
1 green peppers (some of the ingredients listed above)
2 cloves of garlic (already included)
150 ml cream
Ground black pepper
Salt to taste
